Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome to the Asian Journal of Agriculture and Development (AJAD) Online Submission and Monitoring System (AMoS). By creating an account or using this system, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using AMoS.

1. General Rules for All Users

You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account.
You are responsible for keeping your username and password secure.
You must use AMoS only for academic and professional purposes related to manuscript submission, review, or editorial management.
Any misuse of the system (such as unauthorized access, sharing of confidential material, or attempting to disrupt services) is strictly prohibited.

2. Authors

Authors must submit only original work. Plagiarism, duplicate submissions, or fraudulent data are not allowed.
By submitting a manuscript, you confirm that:
- All listed authors have agreed to the submission.
- The work has not been published elsewhere, unless clearly stated and permitted.
- You have disclosed any conflicts of interest.
Authors must prepare their manuscripts in a way that supports the double-blind review process by removing names, affiliations, and other identifying information. Author's identifying information (including acknowledgements) may be attached as separate files.
Authors must not attempt to identify or contact reviewers.
Authors retain the copyright of their manuscripts.
By submitting a manuscript, authors grant AJAD the exclusive right of first publication if the work is accepted.
Once published in AJAD, the article may not be published in another journal in the same form.
Authors may reuse parts of their work (such as in books, reports, or future research) as long as they give proper acknowledgment to AJAD as the original publisher.
Authors may also share their preprint or accepted version according to AJAD's sharing policy.

3. Reviewers

Reviewers agree to keep all manuscripts and related materials strictly confidential.
Reviews must be conducted in an objective, fair, and timely manner.
Reviewers must respect the double-blind review process and must not attempt to discover the identity of authors.
If a reviewer believes they recognize the author(s), they must inform the editor and decide whether to continue or decline the review.
Reviewers must not use any ideas or data from manuscripts for personal benefit.
If a reviewer has a conflict of interest, they must inform the editors immediately and decline the review.

4. Editors and Administrators

Editors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts are handled fairly and transparently.
Editorial decisions must be based on the academic quality of the work and its relevance to AJAD.
Editors and admins must also respect confidentiality and avoid conflicts of interest.

5. Intellectual Property

Authors retain the copyright of their manuscripts.
By submitting a manuscript, authors grant AJAD the exclusive right of first publication if the work is accepted.
Once published in AJAD, the article may not be published in another journal in the same form.

Users must not copy, share, or distribute any material from the System without permission.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

AMoS collects personal information (such as name, email, institution) only for the purpose of managing submissions and reviews.
AJAD will not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except as required by law.
Users are responsible for keeping their account details private.

7. System Use and Availability

While AJAD aims to keep the system available at all times, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
AJAD is not responsible for any loss of data, delays, or errors caused by technical issues.
Users are advised to keep backup copies of their manuscripts and reviews.

8. Limitation of Liability

AJAD is not responsible for any damages that result from using or being unable to use the system.
Decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts are final and not subject to dispute through this system.

9. Suspension and Termination

AJAD reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms and Conditions.
Users may request account deletion by contacting the system administrator.
